Other Services
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is best suited for individuals who are looking to work on themselves to improve their quality of life. Neurofeedback, EMDR, and play therapy may be a part of individual therapy, but other approaches such as psychoeducation, cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and sensorimotor psychotherapy may be used as well.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy is best suited for any two individuals involved in a romantic relationship who want to improve their relationship dynamics together. Couples who are currently experiencing domestic violence in their relationship will not be appropriate for couples therapy and will be referred to individual services instead. Common topics of couples therapy include: finances, parenting, intimacy, communication, and stress management.
Family Therapy
Family therapy is best suited for entire family systems or family dyads to work on their relationships together within the family. While many individuals come in to therapy to work on their own issues, it may be in the individual’s best interest to do family sessions as well. Some common areas for families needing extra support include: death of a family member, divorce, blended families, and family trauma.
